There’s a lot going on here – and it’s all good. Rainbow Riches Pick n Mix might be my new go to online slot, replacing the legend that is Cleopatra after all these years. Seriously, whats not to like about an online slot that has 5 different bonus rounds?
Before you start playing though there are decisions to be made. There are 5 different reel symbols that trigger different bonus rounds in this game. Before you start spinning them reels you are asked to choose up to 3 of them. These will appear on the reels allowing you the potential to trigger three of the five available bonus rounds. you can reset these symbols at any time and choose different ones.

Lets start with the basics. The base game in rainbow Riches Pick n Mix is the same as all other slots – simply match a minimum of 3 symbols from Reel 1 to Reel 5 on one of the 20 winlines. Depending on the symbols you match, and how many of them there are you will win a multiplier of that line bet.
So, if you are playing at £2 per spin, each line bet is worth 10p as there are 20 win lines. You can play with a play stake from as little as 10p up to a massive £500 a spin. Which is crazy.

Spinning in three or more of the Leprechauns Face reel symbol will trigger the Road To Riches round. If you’ve ever played the main Rainbow Riches game then you’ll recognise this, as its a feature that has been incorporated into some Rainbow Riches online slots before.
All you have to do is click to spin the wheel. This will stop on (hopefully) a number and you simply move up the road. Each step up the road is a multiplier value that increases the higher up the road you get. Simply keep spinning until the wheel stops on “Collect”. The game will end and you win the multiplier that you end on. This can get up to 500x your bet if you trigger he feature with three Leprechaun Face reel symbols – and its even higher if you trigger it with 4 or even 5 of them!

The second Bonus Round is the Pots of Gold bonus. This time the round is triggered if you land three or more of the Pots of Gold (obvs) reels symbols on the reels.
You’ll get taken to another screen where yer leprechaun man stands in the middle whilst bronze, silver and gold pots spin around him. Click to stop the pots and you eventually reveal a win multiplier. Again, if you trigger the feature with four or five pots of Gold Symbols then you’ll get the Super Feature, which is exactly the same as the main feature except that Bronze Pots are removed.

Depending on the number of Free Spin symbols you get (3,4 or 5) you will get 10, 20 or 30 Free Spins. That’s pretty generous, and not only that, the Free Spins can be retriggered during the round if Free Spin symbols spin in on reels 1,3 and 5.

The penultimate Bonus Round in Rainbow Riches pick n Mix is the Cash Crop round. Again it’s triggered by getting a minimum of 3 Scatter symbols on the reels – this time its the other leprechaun symbol – the one that his him from the waist up.
You’re taken to a new screen that has 50 gold coins on it. Starting the round makes all the coins spin. When they stop they will either be blank or will show a Multiplier value. All these multiplier values are added up to give you a total.
A larger coin then appears. Spinning this will reveal “Go On” or “Collect”. Collect does what it says on the tin, but if you get “Go On” then the coins reset and spin again, revealing more blanks and Multiplier Values. Except these ones are multiplied themselves.
That’s right – each subsequent round increases the whole game multiplier by x1 each time. This means that the total multiplier that you can win gets really high, really quickly. Which is lovely!
Rainbow Riches Pick n Mix - Magic Toadstool Bonus Round
The final Bonus Round is the Magic Toadstool Bonus round – you can probably guess how this bad boy is triggered can’t you…
Yep, spin in 3 of the toadstool symbols and your in. You’ll be taken (again) to a new screen. This has 24 toadstools on it and you get to pick 3 of them. The selected Toadstools will reveal either a multiplier value or a fairy.
The fairies are cool. They pick a further 3 toadstools, which of course can also have fairies behind them. This means that it’s surprisingly easy for all the toadstools to reveal their values. Everything is added up and then applied to your stake to reveal your final win.
Additionally, if you manage to reveal all the toadstools and still have picks left, these picks are converted into additional overall win multipliers. Which is also very cool.
Rainbow Riches Pick n Mix Big Bet option
So if the base game and the five different bonus rounds in Rainbow Riches Pick n Mix just aren’t enough to satisfy your lust for cash, then you can always click on the purple Big Bet button. here’s you can spend vast amounts of cash to increase your chances of getting the bonus rounds.
The more you stake, the higher the chance you get of triggering a bonus round. For each of the bonuses that you have selected (up to three at the start of the game remember?) you are face with a target. The target has a green area and a rainbow area.
